ABOUT ME
PRODUCT DESIGNER, DIY'ER, SUB-PAR SURFER
A southern California native, I spent the past four years completing my Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. In the pursuit of becoming a great engineer, I learned an important truth - that even the most elegant engineering simply can't hold up on its own without good design to back it. In studying Industrial Design in addition to my engineering courses, I was able to learn more about human needs and desires and to practice incorporating user tastes into physical artifacts.
I have worked at the design consultancies LUNAR and Smart Design as well as under the Design & Styling team at Tesla Motors. From these internships, I have had the opportunity to work on real, shippable products and practice complex CAD, design for high-volume manufacture, and work directly with suppliers and industrial designers.
I will be starting as a Product Design Engineer at Google starting September 2018.
